Alvernia University
The following local residents were among 14 students who earned Excellence in Service Awards from Alverniaís Holleran Center for Community Engagement, by completing more than 100 hours of community service in the last year.
Harlee Ehrets, of Bernville, a freshman Biochemistry major.
Justin Padinske, of Mohrsville, a junior General Science major.
Elizabethtown College recognized the accomplishments of the class of 2013 on Saturday, May 18.
The following local students received degrees from Elizabethtown College:
Joanna Davis, of Leesport, graduated magna cum laude with a bachelorís degree in Health & Occupation.
Kristi Noecker, of Mohrsville, graduated summa cum laude with a bachelorís degree in Biology - Allied Health.
Janis Umberger, of Hamburg, graduated magna cum laude with a bachelorís degree in Early Childhood Education.
DeSales University

Dr. Bashar Hanna, Delaware Valley Collegeís vice president for academic affairs and dean of the faculty, announced the following students have been honored for academic achievement by being named to the spring 2013 Deanís List.
