CRIME WATCH
Amity Township Crime Watch meeting will be held 7:30 - 9 p.m. June 20 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 548 Old Swede Road, Douglassville. Jim Munda, Amity Township Fire Marshall will be our guest speaker. He will discuss Fire Extinguisher training and Juvenile Fire Setting concerns. Crime Watch Liaison Officer Thomas Gauby will discuss recent incidents in the township. A brief meeting will be held, followed by refreshments. The public is invited to attend.
BERKS ENCORE SHOEMAKERSVILLE DANCE
Just Us Plus will perform at the next Berks Encore Shoemakersville Dance, which is scheduled for 7 p.m. on June 20 at the Shoemakersville Fire Company. The dances are held each month on the third Thursday of the month.

From 10 a.m. - 10 p.m. Wizards World of Tattoos Two, 6721 Perkiomen Ave., Exeter and Wizards World of Tattoos Four, 2248 Perkiomen Ave., Mt. Penn, are teaming up with Philadoptables to raise money for Philadelphia’s homeless pets. A portion of the proceeds from each tattoo will be going to support PHILADOPTABLES whose mission is to provide support for adoption, welfare, and outreach programs that benefit the 30,000+ animals received each year by the Philadelphia’s animal control shelter.

INDEPENDENCE DAY
Commemorate our Nation’s birthday at the Daniel Boone Homestead’s Independence Day Program held 10 .m. - 4 p.m.. Learn about the different kinds of troops who were fighting for America’s freedom during the Revolutionary War including the militia, Continentals, and Riflemen. Guided Boone House tours will be offered regularly throughout the day, as well as blacksmithing and gun building demonstrations. There will also be plenty of activities for children, including a militia muster activity, colonial toys and games, and crafts. The Daniel Boone Homestead is located at 400 Daniel Boone Road, Birdsboro.

BIKE POTTSTOWN
Bike Pottstown has been lending out its signature yellow cruisers for recreation and transportation for five years now. The Schuylkill River Heritage Area, which runs the popular free bike share program, wants to encourage more people to use the bikes.
Any first time user will receive a free Bike Pottstown water bottle. Anyone using the bikes 10 times through September 30 will receive a free backpack. Bikes are available at Tri County Bicycles on 256 High St., which now has a total of 40 Bike Pottstown bikes. The Schuylkill River Heritage Area also has a limited number of bikes available at 140 College Dr. Call 484-945-0200 for information.

Hope UMC’s Prayer Time
