NEW HANOVER – One man and one women were injured in a two-car crash on Route 73/Big Road at Church Road around 4 p.m. Friday.
The crash involved a black Nissan Versa and a black pickup truck, which ended up on its roof about 30 yards south of the intersection where the two cars collided.
Police are not releasing any personal information about the two people involved but New Hanover Police Chief Kevin McKeon, said the women driving the truck was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital.
When McKeon arrived at the scene, he said the woman was out of the truck and a rescue was not needed.
He also said the man driving the Nissan was being looked at by emergency personel as well.
Debris from both cars was strewn southbound on Church Road and members of the Sassmansville and Upper Fredrick Fire compaines worked quickly to clean up the area.
The details of the crash are still under investigation.
