State Police, Hamburg, are investigating a string of thefts in the Greenwich Township area between June 29 and June 30 between the hours of 9 p.m. and 11 a.m.
One theft occurred on Green Acres Drive, Greenwich Township. Perpetrators entered the victim’s unsecured vehicle and stole a purse that contained various documents and access device cards. The purse and some of the documents and cards were later recovered, according to a police report.
Another theft occurred on Old 22, Greenwich Township. The criminals entered the victim’s unsecured vehicle and took more than $500 in cash, two wallets with various documents and access device cards, a handful of CDs, and a TomTom navigation system.
The last theft was reported on Parker Drive, Greenwich Township from a motor vehicle. Three young males entered the victim’s unsecured vehicle and stole approximately $15 in change and a small flashlight. It was believed this was the last theft because the criminals were disturbed by a neighbor and scattered on foot.
A burglary took place on Green Acres Drive, Greenwich Township, with the perpetrators believed to be four unknown Hispanic males ages late teens to early 20s with possibly onefemale adult and one female juvenile co-conspirators.
The home owners came home after being away for the weekend to discover the four males had stayed on the property without authorization throughout the night. The suspects fled the scene upon arrival of the home owners.
The suspects had stolen two long guns from the residence. The individuals are also thought to have participated in the three motor vehicle thefts which occurred overnight in the adjacent area.
The individuals may have been driving a white 1994 Chevrolet Cavalier.
