The Reading Police are investigating the fatal shooting of Birdsboro resident, Darryl A. Jones, 26.
Jones was found in a public alley July 5 near 1138 Birch St., Reading.
The police are unsure of the exact time of death, but Reading Sgt. John M. Solecki said police believe the shooting occurred between midnight and 4 a.m.
The Berks County Coroner’s office confirmed July 6 that the Birdsboro man died from a gunshot wound to the head.

A cash reward up to $10,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest.
