Dr. Bernice Parisi of Parisi Orthodontics in Elverson, PA has been installed as President of the Pennsylvania Association of Orthodontists (PAO) for 2013-14.

The PAO is an organization that was created to produce leaders for orthodontics at the community, state, national and international levels. The goal of the PAO board and it members is to advance the art and science of orthodontics and create the highest level of standards in its field. They hope to educate the public about the benefits of being treated in a specialty office for orthodontic care. A specialist is required to attend an additional 2 to 3 years of training after dental school.

Dr. Parisi has been practicing orthodontics for over 20 years. She opened her own practice in Elverson in 2006. Parisi Orthodontics is located at 201 Darby Square, Elverson PA, behind Doug’s Family Pharmacy. Dr. Parisi saw the need for a local specialist in a growing area. She was able to establish a state of the art facility with a small town feel. Dr. Parisi and her team focus on creating a one-on-one relationship with their patients and parents and like to be thought of as the ‘hometown’ Orthodontist. Parisi Orthodontics does free consultations for kids and adults. She is one of the only orthodontists in the state that is certified in Incognito Braces (invisible braces, behind the teeth). The office also works with most insurances. For more information, visit them on Facebook, check out their web site www.parisiortho.com or call 610-286-1606.
