Famed Jazz Artist Dave Stahl and Band to play August 8 Jazzin' On The Pride

The Pride of the Susquehanna Riverboat is pleased to welcome famed jazz musician Dave Stahl and his Quintet, who will be playing on Thursday, August 8, 2013 on our weekly Jazzin’ on the Pride Happy Hour Event. This popular event occurs every Thursday from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM at the City Island Docks. Enjoy FREE admission from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM! Then, enjoy a breathtaking sunset cruise from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM for $10.00 per person. During the whole event, a cash bar, snacks, and appetizers will be available for purchase while you listen to this world-class jazz artist and his band.

Mr. Stahl’s professional career began as a trumpeter in the Army. Since his discharge, he has played for countless famous musicians. Stahl has backed up notables like Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Tony Bennett, Mel Torme, Jack Jones, Sarah Vaughan, and Englebert Humperdinck. Engagements have taken him through Europe, North Africa, the Caribbean, Canada, Japan, and forty-eight of the fifty states. He has performed on the national level countless times with these great musicians, as well as his band, and his many popular and award winning albums are known worldwide.
