“Coping with Older Adults’ Behavioral Health Issues”
An hour-long discussion of common behavioral health issues faced by older adults; event is open to the public.
WHAT: Marian Stefanov Georgiev, MD, staff psychiatrist at Haven Behavioral Hospital of Eastern Pennsylvania (Reading, Pa.) will lead a discussion on the common behavioral health issues faced by older adults, including symptoms and treatment options. The event is sponsored by Haven Behavioral Hospital and The Heritage of Green Hills.

WHO: Marian Stefanov Georgiev, MD, staff psychiatrist at Haven Behavioral Hospital (Reading, Pa.), received his medical degree from the Medical University of Varna (Bulgaria). He completed his adult psychiatric training at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center (Queens, N.Y.) and his geriatric psychiatric fellowship at the Beth Israel Medical Center (New York City). Dr. Georgiev is a member of the American Psychiatric Association, the American Association of Geriatric Psychiatry and served as staff psychiatrist for a large inpatient psychiatric unit in New York.
