Sovereign Bank in Kutztown was robbed this afternoon, July 11, reports Kutztown Police Chief Craig M. Summers.
At about 2:12 p.m., a white male walked into the Sovereign Bank at 61 Constitution Blvd. in Kutztown and handed the teller a demand note for money. No weapon was displayed. The teller handed over the contents from her register. The suspect then fled through the same door he entered. The suspect was last seen running east and crossing Constitution Blvd. into a wooded area, according to Summers.
The about 5’6’tall suspect was wearing a blue bandana and glasses and had a goatee.
