Those looking to take a cruise this summer are invited by Kutztown Community Partnership to travel along on the 5th Annual Muscle on Main Car Cruise, July 20, from 4 to 8p.m.
This nostalgic journey down memory lane will allow car enthusiasts young and old to tour classic and new cars, trucks, and race cars on Main Street in downtown Kutztown.
The Muscle on Main event, sponsored by Deka, Haldeman Ford, the Kutztown Rotary and the Borough of Kutztown, allows those in attendance to step back in time as they stroll through an array of classical cars they may have driven during the good old crusin’ days. Spectators will be allowed a close-up view of how the owners of several hundred vintage automobiles have maintained their prize possessions throughout the years.
This fun-filled event is free for spectators of all ages. There will be non-stop music from the rock band Shake, Rattle, and Soul while you enjoy a downtown dining experience with outside vendors and local businesses. Door prizes and raffle prizes donated by local community businesses, (four free entries per car owner), will be drawn hourly at 5, 6 and 7 p.m.
Event participants are to register their cars at the Kutztown High School parking lot, from 2 to 4 p.m. on day of the event. There is a cost per car. Spectators are invited to park in two Municipal lots located behind Main Street on Constitution Blvd. and Whiteoak Street.
