The Hay Creek Festival, held at historic Joanna Furnace near Morgantown, is in need of craft and antique vendors for the 37th annual event which will be held September 6 - 8, 2013. Items sold by crafters must be handmade and all vendors will be juried prior to being accepted. The Berks County Patriots will be holding their free monthly meeting at the Leesport Farmers Market from 6:30 - 8:30PM. It will be a Super Town Hall event with numerous elected officials answering questions related to PA state issues. Please visit for more information.

Lois Stephens will be the featured speaker at this months meeting of The Elverson-Morgantown Womens Aglow Community Lighthouse. The meeting will begin with food and fellowship at 6:00 pm, followed by the meeting at 7pm. Come and hear this anointed woman of God and be equipped to step into your destiny. The 14th Annual Peach Festival will be held in Cedar Grove Presbyterian Churchs Fellowship Hall from 7:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Come for breakfast and/or lunch, enjoy dessert, silent auction, white elephant and baked goods sales, crafts, theme baskets and books. The annual John Adam Styer Family Reunion will be held at the California Church Grove near Morgantown beginning at 2 p.m. A meeting of the Styer Cemetery Association also is scheduled to begin about 2 p.m. at the cemetery.
