Storm 14U competes at the USSSA Fastpitch World Series in Salisbury, Maryland

The Storm 14U softball team finished 17th out of 60 teams at the USSSA Fastpitch World Series held in Salisbury, Maryland.

The STORM 14U softball team finished 17th out of 60 teams at the USSSA 14U Fastpitch World Series held in Salisbury, Maryland. The five day tournament consisted of 60 teams from 9 states and Ontario, Canada (NJ, NY, VA, MD, PA, DE, OH, CT, and IL). The STORM team played 8 games over 3 days and finished with 5 wins and 3 losses. The STORM 14U teams other accomplishments for the season included winning the championship of the USSSA 2013 Memorial Day Classic, they finished the tournament with a record of 5 wins and 1 loss. They finished as runners up at the Oley 14U invitation tournament and finished 3rd at the USSSA 2013 Summer Slider Open tournament. The players had a great time building lasting friendships and developing their softball skills while playing a high level of competition.

The STORM 14U softball team has players from Boyertown, Brandywine, Daniel Boone, Fleetwood, Oley, and Wilson.
