The Third Annual Yip and Dip Doggie Swim will be held on Sunday, September 8, 1-4 pm at the Boyertown Community Pool, 417 S. Madison Street, Boyertown.
The entire pool and splash pad will be open for dogs and their owners willing to take the plunge. An off-leash area complete with agility course will be available as well as toenail trims, pet related vendors, caricatures by Alan MacBain, and contests throughout the day. People food will be available for purchase as well as canine novelties.
Coordinated by Boyertown Area YMCA staff and volunteers, event sponsors include Douglassville Veterinary Hospital, Patt Veterinary Hospital Ltd., Fuzzy Days LLC, GiGi’s at home Pet Care, Media Fusion Technologies, Orchard Hills Training, Rita’s of Boyertown, and Zimmer’s Pets. Admission fee is a $10 donation per dog with a $25 maximum per household.
