Tickets on Sale Now! for the Berks County Wine Trail’s annual Artisan Cheese & Wine Pairing Event Weekend! Taking place the weekend of October 5 and 6, 2013, at all eight wineries along the Berks County Wine Trail, Artisan Cheese & Wine Pairing Weekend is a fantastic opportunity to experience and enjoy an array of local cheeses paired with locally produced wines. Event takes place Noon to 5 p.m. both days, ticketholders can plan a self-guided tour of this unique wine trail during this event weekend. Great way to enjoy a daytrip!

Earlybirds: Tickets are available for a cheaper rate prior to the event. Tickets are valid at all eight wineries during the event weekend.

During this event weekend, ticketholders will enjoy samples of different cheeses at each winery, paired with a fantastic Berks County wines including several award-winners! The wineries of Berks County Wine Trail are distinct from other wine trails: each has a completely unique point of view regarding art of winemaking. The result is a style of wine available for everyone who visits. During this annual event, enjoy discovering which style of cheese pairs best with which varieties of wines. Curious how a Gouda compares to a smoked Cheddar? Or what a goat cheese takes like versus cheese made from cow’s milk? Intrigued by what cheese would pair well with a Pinot Noir or discover what cheeses to enjoy with a Chardonnay – here is your opportunity to explore and experience!

Bonus feature for ticket-holders! During this event weekend will be samples of 8 different varieties of Subarashii Kudamono fresh, gourmet Asian Pears. Subarashii Kudamono, local gourmet grower in Kempton, Pa. will be sampling a different variety of its wonderful fruit at each winery during this event. Eight different varieties of gourmet Asian Pears at eight different wineries! Asian Pears are a delicious and refreshing accent to a wide array of cheeses and wines!
