On Wednesday, Sept. 11, Walnut Woods held a flag ceremony featuring bag pipes to honor the victims of the September 11 attacks. This has become an annual event at Walnut Woods.

First Responders of Friendship Hook & Ladder, Boyertown Ambulance, Liberty of New Berlinville and Keystone of Boyertown attended the ceremony along with Mayor Marianne Deery and State Representative David Maloney.
