Stephanie Grace to kick-off United Way Of Boyertown Area

Friday, September 20, 2013

Local country music star, Stephanie Grace will help kick-off the 2013/2014 Campaign of the United Way of Boyertown Area at a 7 PM concert on September 27, 2013. Stephanie, currently a Junior at Boyertown Area Senior High School, is this yearís Campaign Chair for the United Way of Boyertown Area who will receive proceeds from this concert.
Please plan to join the fun at the Don Kuszyk Auditorium, Boyertown Junior High West at this event sponsored by BASH Key Club, East Student Council, East Builders Club, West Teens Who Care and West Leo Club. Tickets are $5 for general admission and can be purchased at the United Way of Boyertown Area Office and from their Board members, from Greg Galtere at Jr. High West and other locations around the Boyertown area. Doors open at 6:30 PM.
However, this and other fun Campaign Kick-off events will contrast with the message representatives from the 16 agencies supported by your one donation to the United Way of Boyertown Area are delivering. The current, tough economic times continue for many of your Boyertown area neighbors who need the services of local non-profits but can not afford them. Long term unemployment, the loss of a home and/or trying to live on a fixed income are but a few of the reasons our neighbors need more services from our local agencies.
More donations from local residents to the United Way of Boyertown Area are needed to help these agencies pay for these services. Please give generously directly to the United Way (P.O. Box 213, Boyertown, PA 19512) or designate that their payroll deductions be sent to the United Way of Boyertown Area. Any size gift is appreciated and really adds up if everyone who is able gives something. For those who are able, a new or increased donation of $50 or more will be matched $1 for $1 by a grant from the Pottstown Area Health & Wellness Foundation.
Together we can make a difference in our community.
