Bethel Elementary proud to be No Place for Hate school

Submitted photo The No Place for Hate banner.

No Place for Hate Designation and kick off assembly took place at Bethel Elementary School on Sept. 17. Bethel is proud to be a No Place for Hate school for the 5th year and we will hang our banner proudly in the gym with our other banners. The students enjoyed hearing Todd Waites inspiring story of learning to play the keyboard after losing an arm. We learned again about how everyone has differences that we can respect and enjoy. It is never okay to bully someone for their differences. Students especially enjoyed the music Todd played at the end of his program.

The program was sponsored by the Anti-Defamation League. An official designation banner was presented to the school during the program.
