HONEY BROOK – An 85-year-old motorist was killed in a two-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon in the 3600 block of Horseshoe Pike.

According to state police, the driver was pulling his 1993 Plymouth Acclaim out of a driveway when his vehicle was struck by a 1996 Dodge Ram about 12:50 p.m.

Both vehicles stopped on the north side of the road, police said.

The driver, who was unidentified, was pronounced dead at the scene. His passenger, an 85-year-old woman, was transported to Reading Hospital for treatment.

State police were assisted by Medic 93 and Honey Brook Fire Company.
