On Sept. 19, nine new members joined the Conestoga Christian School chapter of the National Honor Society. Two seniors and seven juniors were honored to become a part of the national organization that recognizes students who excel in the areas of scholarship, leadership, character and service. At CCS, students must first attain a commendable cumulative high school GPA of at least 3.7. Service, leadership and character are evaluated through student response forms and faculty input. Jon Shoup, a returning senior member of the NHS, says, “This year, the Conestoga Christian School NHS hopes to encourage students within the school to grow closer to one another and to expand our service opportunities into the larger community beyond our school.”

Conestoga Christian School is located at 2760 Main Street in Morgantown. More information can be found at conestogachristian.net.
