Corinne K. Stoltzfus, daughter of Merle and Diane Stoltzfus, Elverson, and Daniel D. Iya, son of Dr. Daniel and Dr. Clara Iya, Jos, Nigeria, were united in marriage during a double ring ceremony held on Aug. 15 at the Kenan Chapel in Wilmington, N.C. The Rev. Jere Scott Bradshaw officiated. Music at the church was provided by Kelly Fenton, sister of the bride, Diane Stoltzfus, mother of the bride, and David Canche, brother-in-law of the bride. Scripture readings were done by Caleb Stoltzfus, brother of the bride, and Paul Iya, brother of the groom. The flowers were by Dorothy Bradshaw. Photography was by Heather Green.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride selected her sister, Kimberly Mountz, Geigertown, as her maid of honor. Flower girls were Calla Brust, Kelsey Brust, Wheaton, Ill., and Haley Canche, Longview, Texas, nieces of the bride. The groom selected Rabo Garba, Wilmington, Del., to serve as his best man.
A reception was held at the Ocean Spray beach house in Holden Beach, N.C. A reception at the Ammon P. Stoltzfus community center in Elverson was held after the couple returned from their honeymoon in the Bahamas.
The bride is a 2012 graduate of Letourneau University, Longview, Texas. She serves with the Good Shepherd’s Fold Orphanage in Jinja, Uganda. The groom is a 2009 graduate of Letourneau University. He is currently a student at Westminster Theological Seminary and serves with Engineering Ministries International. The couple is temporarily residing in Terre Hill until January, when they plan to return to Uganda.
