New Hanover Chiropractic adds new doctor to its team

To continue serving its patients with individualized attention and high quality care, New Hanover Chiropractic is pleased to welcome David C. Mazzola, Jr., BS, DC. He joined the clinic August 26, 2013 and adds to the expertise of the current staff by applying his knowledge of sports treatment.
Dr. Mazzola obtained his Bachelor of Science from Muhlenberg College and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic. During his time at Palmer College of Chiropractic, his scholarship surpassed the classroom. Outside of his studies, Dr. Mazzola was an active member of the Sports Council as well as the Student Council.
Working with athletes is one of Dr. Mazzolaís passions. Prior to joining New Hanover Chiropractic, and returning to his hometown, he treated athletes in the Orlando area ranging from football players, marathon runners, triathletes and CrossFit Nationalcompetitors. His other certifications and skills provide athletes with the professional level of care that is crucial in making a complete recovery. Dr. Mazzola is certified in Flexion-Distraction and Compression, Graston soft tissue technique, and Gonstead Lumbo-Pelvic Adjusting. He has also been trained in Kinesio Taping and participated in SOT Cranial Seminars during his education. Additionally, Dr. Mazzola is skilled in Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy, Therapeutic Exercise, Extremity Issues along with Nutrition. His breadth of knowledge and skills make him qualified to serve New Hanover Chiropracticís patients with professionalism and provide multiple areas of care.
