Family owned and operated since 2001, Computer Wizards has experienced steady growth throughout the years, said Chris Breidenstein, co-owner with Susan Bensinger.

‘Our big focus is customer service. A happy customer is a returning customer,’ said Breidenstein, ‘We’re making sure we’re providing the best service for our customers.’

Computer Wizards expanded its tech area and put in a new sitting area for customers, including a large couch and big screen TV. ‘While they’re waiting for us to look at their computer, they can watch TV and have a cup of coffee,’ he said.

They also recently purchased new equipment that will allow them to do jobs that previously had to be outsourced. ‘Hopefully, it will set us apart from other shops in the area,’ he said.

Computer Wizards offers a large selection of new and used computers, Apple products, computer parts and accessories. Services include system trouble shooting; virus and spyware removal; computer repairs; cell phone repairs; iPad, iPod, iPhone and tablet repairs and cover changes; and data recovery. They now fix TVs also. The store is a drop off site for Responsible Recycling Service.

‘We thank our customers for their support. We definitely couldn’t be here without them,’ said Breidenstein. ‘And a thank you to our technicians because without them the work wouldn’t be getting done.’

Computer Wizards technicians include Chris Breidenstein, Jeff McCrea, Ian Borten and Anthony Marmontello.

‘I like to fix things. The best part about this job is I get to take broken stuff and I get them to work again, I absolutely love that,’ said Borten, hardware technician who fixes Apple products, tablets and TVs. ‘I also put together custom solutions for people, getting them exactly what they want and seeing a smile on their face at the end of the day when they’ve got something up and working, I live for that.’

Computer technician Marmontello likes that everyday is different. ‘The same solution is not going to work for everything. No two viruses are alike.’

Systems analyst McCrea fixes viruses, hardware issues and software issues. ‘This is the best job I’ve ever had. I like working on computers.’
