Celebrate apple season and the local harvest at the Peddler’s Village Annual Apple Festival on Saturday, November 2, and Sunday, November 3, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., rain or shine. Admission and parking are free.

Sample a wide variety of red, green and golden apples from Bucks County orchards and take home a bushel of your favorite. Sip a cup of local apple cider while you watch authentic demonstrations of cider production in an antique cider press. Taste samples of Pennsylvania Dutch apple and pumpkin butters and pick up some jars to take home. Dig into a scrumptious selection of apple baked goods and traditional apple treats from crisp apple fritters, apple pies and dumplings to homemade candy and caramel apples.

Once stomachs are satisfied, enjoy the live musical entertainment throughout the Village. Shop the unique handcrafted items at the artisan booths on the Street Road Green that include folk art, jewelry, pottery, clothing and leather creations, hand blown and fused glass, birdhouses and furniture.

The Apple Pie Eating Contests, held at 3 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday, provides lots of laughs and prizes for winners. Competitions are held in these age categories -- 10 and under, 11-14 and 15 and up. Contestants are chosen by lottery and must sign up from 10 a.m.-2:45 p.m. at the Hospitality Booth on the Main Green.
