The 17th Annual Merchants Faire at Tel Hai will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. offering information on local businesses, health services and community organizations. A Moms Day Out, Stop and Shop will be held at the Fivepointville Fire Hall, 10 a.m. 8 p.m. There will be a wide selection of home-based companies represented and gifts. A Service of Remembrance honoring those who have experienced the loss of a loved one will be held in the chapel at Garden Spot Village, 433 S. Kinzer Ave., New Holland. A musical prelude begins at 2:20 p.m., and the service starts at 2:30 p.m., with food and fellowship following the service.

Flag retirement ceremony at Daniel Boone Homestead, 400 Daniel Boone Road, Birdsboro, noon. The event is organized by the Conrad Weiser Society, the Children of the American Revolution and the Berks County Veterans Affairs Office. The hosting organizations have many flags to retire and everyone in attendance will have the opportunity to retire a flag.
