Chester County Solid Waste Authority to host children's program

Elementary aged children throughout the area are invited to come out for a day of fun and learning hosted by The Chester County Solid Waste Authority in cooperation with The S.P.A.R.K.S. Foundation – Science Explorers. This free program will explore What They Leave Behind, exploring animals and their tracks and will allow children to construct and take home their own cast fossil. Recycled Paper will demonstrate how “wasted fibers” from our recycle bin can be made into paper the children can take home. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle will teach how we separate our recyclables in a fun and fast paced relay game.

This one-day free program will be at the Chester County Solid Waste Authority administration building at 7224 Division Highway, Narvon, PA 17555 on November 2, 2013 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. It is open to elementary aged students with a limited number of spots available. Registration is required.
