State Police, Hamburg, report that a Lenhartsville man crashed his pickup truck into a tree, boulders and a farmhouse on Krumsville Road, Greenwich Township, on Nov. 10.

The driver sustained minor injury. The farmhouse suffered heavy structural damage.

According to the police report, Jason Wengert, 33, was driving his Ford F-250 northbound on Krumsville Road in the area of Wiltrout Road at about 7:36 p.m. when he lost control and collided with a roadside tree, boulders and a farmhouse at 1097 Krumsville Road. Wenger sustained minor injuries as a result of the crash. His vehicle was disabled and was towed from the scene.

Upon police arriving at the scene, State Police Investigator William Spayd reports that ‘Wengert was observed to have indicators of alcoholic intoxication and was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence.’

Wengert was transported from the scene to St. Joseph Medical Center for a draw of blood, according to the report. Charges are pending test results.
