A man struck the back end of a school bus with students on it resulting in one juvenile being transported to Reading Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to Pennsylvania State Police. Robert Delong, 68, of Hamburg, was traveling south in the area of 570 Shoey Rd., Centre Twp. as was the 2009 Blue Bird Bus driven by Lorrie Feist, 58, of Mohrsville, with Schuylkill Valley students on board at 3 p.m. on Nov. 11. Delong’s 2007 Toyota Corolla struck the back end of the school bus. As a result of the collision, one juvenile female was transported to Reading Hospital. Her injuries were non-life threatening. The school bus was stopped and all warning signals and signs were operational.

The drivers of both vehicles were wearing their seat belts.

Police are investigating the incident.
