Color: Calico colored Kitty’s Comment’s: Purrrrr all! I am a very special kitty, indeed. I have feline leukemia, but that doesn’t slow me down at all. I love to be petted, and gently brushed and I want a home and place of my own so badly. I and my other roommates are wishing for a loving home. Can you help?

Volunteer Comment: Feline leukemia virus will not survive outside the cat for more than a few hours in most environments. Laboratory studies have failed to provide evidence that FeLV can be transmitted from cats to humans. A FeLV cat is best suited to an adult household, and should be an only cat. Kappa is an especially affectionate kitty who would love to display her purring power to an interested human.

All One By One cats have to be kept indoors and may NOT be declawed. One By One cats are properly tested, wormed, inoculated, flea treated and neutered. One By One is a no-kill Pennsylvania cat rescue located in the Berks & Lehigh counties area. We place the health, happiness and well-being above all else, and our ultimate goal is to find the best match for the cat and adopting family through screening and discussion. One By One does not receive any local, state or federal funding – we exist on donations from the public! Needed: Volunteers to work 2 hours a week at One By One Shelter in Kutztown. Great interaction with wonderful cats!
