Charles and Marilyn Ackerman of Deysher Road in Fleetwod celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary recently. They were married in Zionsville Lutheran Church by Rev. Luther Lin on Sept. 17, 1966.
They will be celebrating the event with a family dinner and a trip to Arizona.
Charles is the son of the late Earl and Florence Ackerman. He is retired from Air products and Ackerman Electric.
Marilyn is the daughter of the Paul and Anna Rahn. She is a mother and homemaker and worked for East Penn Publishing as circulation manager and also at the Lutheran Home in Topton. Their children are James and Jennifer Ackerman and Janelle Ackerman and husband, Clyde Leonard. They have two grandchildren.
