One local playhouse is making your dreams of being a singing star come true.

Each year, the Birdsboro playhouse hosts a ‘Fantasy Night of Singing’ where anyone from the public may come to belt out their favorite tune.

This year, the annual night of singing will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 4.

‘We wanted to have a night where people get to sing songs that they’ve never got to sing in a show,’ Mark Drey, artistic director, said. ‘It’s open to anybody.’

Just bring your voice, sheet music and be are ready to perform! Local pianist Dan Pardo will accompany the impromptu singers. There is no admission fee, but tipping the piano player is highly encouraged.

‘Come, bring sheet music, or just come to watch,’ Drey encourages. ‘Kids, adults… it’s a fun night that everybody enjoys.’

The playhouse is located at 301 E. First Street in Birdsboro, Pa.
