Are you tired of the snow yet? How about the ice? Everyone that’s been wishing out loud for one of those ‘old fashioned winters’, PLEASE STOP NOW! You got your wish now leave it alone. There are plenty of warm spots around the amplifiers at local shows though, so get out there and snuggle up to one. Special Valentine’s Day shows are on the books for WTIM friends Black Hat Boris, John & Kass Bolles and at The State Theater. Jim Meck, Me Against Me, Levi Bone are also scoring local shows while Stephanie Grace checks in from Nashville, Tennessee and STORM will be Jamming with the Keystone State Rolling Renegades Roller Derby Team (get the pun?) up in Hamburg. You may hear the new jingle for Miller/Keystone on the radio soon and we want to be the first to tell you that it was penned by WTIM friend Stephanie Grace! Nice.

Don’t forget when you’re out and about to thank the venue for sponsoring local bands and music! Without them our lives would be very quiet and boring.

Do you want to see your band or venue listed here at WTIM send an email to tdietterick@21st-centurymedia.com with the particulars (at least 2 weeks in advance) and we’ll get it out there.

Tim Dietterick is the circulation manager for Berks-Mont Newspapers.
