The Perkiomen Valley Art Center’s annual members’ art exhibit will be held April 8th through April 27th at the Mennonite Heritage Center, 565 Yoder Road, Harleysville, PA. The exhibit will feature artwork of regional artists and include watercolors, oil paintings, pastels, drawings, photography and sculpture. Judging the show this year will be artist David Oleski of West Chester.
Visitors to the art show will also enjoy a chance to see the exhibits of the Mennonite Heritage Center’s museum which highlights the history of the Mennonites and their cultural arts. The art show reception will be held on Sunday, April 27th from 2:00-4:30pm. An awards presentation will take place at 4:00pm. The exhibit and reception are open to the public and free of charge.
The Perkiomen Valley Art Center was founded in 1957. This non-profit, all volunteer group strives to promote the fine arts in this region and to encourage local artists through educational programs, art exhibits, awards for excellence in the arts, and awards for area high school art students. All programs and art exhibits are free and membership is open to all.
