The Santander Performing Arts Center the Reading Symphony Orchestra presents the fifth concert in the 101st subscription series season 8 p.m. Saturday, April 26, 2014. This concert features pianist Terrence Wilson to the Reading Stage to perform Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No. 3. Wilson is sure to warm hearts with this amazing concerto! Also being performed on this concert is Glinka’s Russlan and Ludmilla Overture and Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 6.

Terrence Wilson is a graduate of The Juillard School. Today he is an active recitalist, having made his New York City recital debut at the 92nd Street Y, and his Washington, DC recital debut at the Kennedy Center. In Europe he has given recitals at the Verbier Festival in Switzerland, and at the Louvre in Paris. In the United States, he has given recitals at the Ravinia Festival in Chicago, the Caramoor Festival in Katonah, NY, San Francisco’s Herbst Theatre, and for the La Jolla Chamber Music Society. Wilson has appeared with many prestigious ensembles, including the symphony orchestras of Atlanta, Baltimore, Cincinnati, Dallas, Detroit, Houston, Washington, DC (National Symphony), San Francisco, St. Louis and the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra, as well as with the orchestras of Cleveland, Minnesota and Philadelphia.

Also featured on this concert night is a special performance by the Reading Symphony Youth Orchestra under the direction of RSO Cellist, Peter Brye.
