St. Louis came to Hamburg this past weekend as the Hamburg Area School District Drama Hawks presented the musical “Meet Me In St. Louis” to a full auditorium on April 11, 12 and 13.

Students showed off not only their acting, but also musical and dance talents as they danced and sang on stage.

“This show came to us,” said Bethany Geisinger, the director, in the Director’s Message. “It felt right. And we had just the perfect kids to do it. Working with them made the weeks fly by.”

As the lights dimmed after each scene, during which the audience laughed at just the right time, loud applause could be heard for not only the acting, but for the singing performances as well.
