The White House has decided whether Justin Bieber will be deported or not.
Since January – when Bieber was arrested in Miami Beach for suspicion of DUI – 273,968 people have signed a petition to kick Bieber back over the Canadian border. A mere 100,000 signatures is necessary to get an official response from the White House.
It has responded. And, sadly, its response was incorrect.
‘Sorry to disappoint, but we won’t be commenting on this one,’ the White House’s statement read, according to E! News.
‘The We the People terms of participation state that, ‘to avoid the appearance of improper influence, the White House may decline to address certain procurement, law enforcement, adjudicatory, or similar matters properly within the jurisdiction of federal departments or agencies, federal courts, or state and local government in its response to a petition.’ So we’ll leave it to others to comment on Mr. Bieber’s case, but we’re glad you care about immigration issues. Because our current system is broken.’
Obviously … with all these irritating Canadians coming here and riling up our females.
E! reported that on Sunday, Bieber promised his Twitter followers that he has changed. ‘This is my time off but my mind is always running. Learned a lot this past year thru trial & error but that is life. Excited for what’s next,’ he wrote. He later tweeted, ‘Always push yourself to be better than the day before.’
Please.Bieber’s trial on charges of driving under the influence, resisting arrest and driving without a valid driver’s license, is scheduled for May 5.
