This Saturday evening, June 28 from 7 to 9:15 p.m., the Borough of Kutztown’s 2014 Concert Series in the Park continues with the return of the very popular and entertaining oldies band, The 60s Boys.

They bring their unique showmanship and vocals to the stage and are a high energy show band hailing from the Northeastern Pennsylvania area. The 60s Boys, a Mudflaps production, was formed in 2011 and brings to the stage a vast array of musical and vocal talent. The full sounding oldies band complete with horn section, guitars, drums, and lead vocalist will deliver a high quality vocal and instrumental show. The 60s Boys entertain audiences recreating the hits made famous by the likes of The Blues Brothers, Frankie Vali and the Four Seasons, The Beach Boys, Roy Orbison, The Richteous Brothers, The Platters, Elvis Pressley, Jay Black and the Americans, to name a few, including the sounds of the ‘Grease’ soundtrack.

The band has become very popular as they bring their style and entertainment reminiscent of the great bands as they dance and sing to some of the most popular and memorable hits and classics. If you recall the great sounds of the 50s, 60s and 70s, you grew up in that era, like that style music, or just need an entertaining night out, this is a must see concert. Come early, get good seats and bring the family and get ready for a great time, great music, and a trip down memory lane as ‘THE 60’s BOYS’ take you on that trip of a bygone era.

The concert is free to the public and is part of the Borough of Kutztown ‘2014 Concert Series in the Park’, and will be held rain or shine in the covered Kutztown Park Bandshell.
