We’re a little light this week seeing as the Fourth falls on Friday, lots of folks traveling and places taking a day off to celebrate the birth of our Nation. Cool, break out the grill, grab some brew and hang out in the back yard chasing lightning bugs. Then get over it, because we’re right back at it on Saturday! WTIM friends selling tickets this time include Jim Meck and Christine Havrilla. Jim will be playing outside up in Topton and Christine will be at the Upper Saucon Twp Park in Center Valley. If you don’t get enough of the picnic atmosphere on the Fourth you can check out the outdoor BBQ and Beer Garden over at the Other Farm. Booking Southern Fried Funk was quite a coup and Hank and the folks over there are sure to put out quite a spread. On the ‘big’ stages Zappa Plays Zappa caught my eye and yes, it is Dweezil who will be playing his father’s music down in AC. Oh for the days of Zarcon infested tweezers… Okay let’s be safe out there this holiday weekend, let blowing stuff up to the professionals (Dave this means you and the crew as the qualifying pros) and the driving to the designated driver. See you all out and about.

Do you want to see your band or venue listed here at WTIM send an email to tdietterick@21st-centurymedia.com with the particulars (at least two weeks in advance) and we’ll get it out there.
