Music in the Grove at St. John Center Lutheran Church is happy to take this opportunity to introduce you to Remington Ryde on Sunday, July 27 at 7 p.m. This will be their first appearance at the programs so we invite you to come to the grove and give them a big welcome.

From central Pennsylvania comes one of the hottest regional bands in bluegrass. Remington Ryde was formed as a bluegrass band in 2002 with the sole purpose of promoting bluegrass music throughout the state. They have grown in popularity and host the annual Remington Ryde Bluegrass Festival. They are one of the busiest regional bands in bluegrass music. They play about 135 programs a year all over the country, from the east to the west coasts and are loved by bluegrass fans.

Remington Ryde’s members are Ryan Frankhouser on lead vocals and guitar, Richard Egolf plays upright bass, Billie Lee Cox plays banjo, Rich Kratzer is on mandolin and Greg Moore on fiddle. They all thank God for giving them the talent to do what they do.

Remington Ryde’s strong vocals, powerful instrumentation and energetic stage presence along with their down to earth personalities keep people coming back again and again. A few of the bluegrass festivals Remington Ryde is playing this year are Arcadia, Little Roy Lewis & Lizzie, Cherokee and Bean Blossom.

The program will be outdoors, so bring your lawn chairs. In case of inclement weather, the program will be in the church. St. John Center Lutheran Church and grove are located along Rt. 625 a few miles south of Bowmansville at 599 Reading Road, East Earl. Sandwiches, snacks and drinks will be available. A free will offering will be received. We welcome you to come and join us for a fun filled evening of great bluegrass music by Remington Ryde. NOTE: Starting next week Music in the Grove begins at 6 p.m.
