Happy 100th Anniversary RMC! This will be a party the Oley Valley will remember for quite a while! Three days of the area’s best bands topped off with a visit from The Fabulous Thunderbirds, you can not get a bigger bang for your buck! If you go, remember, this event is intended and open ONLY TO THOSE 21 YEARS OF AGE AND OVER, IDs REQUIRED!
WTIM friends jamming this time include Jim Meck, Levi Bone, Colour & Codeine and Black Hat Boris. Come out and see them they love playing for a crowd. While I have some room here are some developments in upcoming events – Boyertown/Oley Bark for Life have confirmed Stephanie Grace, Caohoma Soul, Yolanda Spohn, John ‘Ribeye’ Reinkemeyer and Krusty and the Timebomb so far for their Howling for a Cure Concert happening October 5 at the Oley Fairgrounds. They have also secured a very cool looking Agile guitar to raffle that day, you can see it at various BFL events in the area.
The Turning Leaf Fall Festival is in full planning mode, the committee is expecting to have two stages with music again from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. (band listings to follow soon) along with the many vendors, crafts and activities.
