St. John Center Lutheran Church will welcome BlueGRACE from St. John’s United Methodist Church in Paradise on Sunday, August 3 at 6 p.m.

BlueGRACE began playing several years ago as the praise band at St. John’s United Methodist Church in Paradise. Because of the popularity the band gained they now, besides their church, play at other church functions, benefits, and here at St. John Center Lutheran Church’s Music in the Grove. They play a mixture of bluegrass and country gospel music using a variety of songs from standard gospel music and from several hymnals.

The members include Brian Gregg, guitar, harmonica and vocals; Pat Strubel, Vocals; Larry Russell playing mandolin and doing vocals, Ed Bongi playing bass and Tim Kilby on guitar, banjo, dobro and vocals.

The program will be outdoors in the grove, so bring your lawn chairs. In case of rain, the program will be indoors. The youth will have sandwiches, snacks and drinks. A free will offering will be received. Come out, relax and help us make welcome BlueGRACE. The church is located along Route 625, a few miles south of Bowmansville. GPS information is: 599 Reading Road, East Earl, Pa. 17519
