It’s a LOVE A-FAIR at Kutztown Fair!

The Biggest Little Fair in Pennsylvania is happy to announce a super family fun experience this August. Families will love this affordable family night. Great food, hundreds of farm animals, rides, musical entertainment, a chance to see friends both old and new. Attending the Kutztown Fair is family tradition.

New in 2014 is a cook-off. The Kutztown Fair PotPie Contest. It will be hosted on the fairgrounds on Thursday Aug. 14. Cooks of all ages are encouraged to enter. There will be three divisions – Organizations (not for profits, such as Grange, churches, etc..); HomeCooks/Individuals; and Professional/Restaurants. Start your LOVE A-FAIR with the food. A specialty of the Kutztown Fair is the Dutch Fries. Couple the unique foods such as steak sandwiches, fried Lebanon bologna sandwiches, blooming onions, birch beer, apple fritters, funnel cakes, pierogies, and fresh lemonade – with the entertainment, and guests of the fair will have a tremendous and fulfilling night.

This year the midway show will feature Hansen’s Spectacular Acrobatic Sensations. ‘Keeping your attention skyward, Hansen’s Spectacular Acrobatic Sensations is a family affair including the youngest of Shane and Alecia Michelle Hansen’s three children, 3-year-old Ella. This thrilling show features high-speed juggling, acrobatic feats on a trampoline and high-flying performances on the 30-foot-tall cloud swing by Alecia Michelle’

Different performers will light up the main stage each night.. Monday THE OUTLAWS perform, Tuesday, HONEY and THE BEES; Wednesday THE REHRIG BROTHERS; Thursday music by LAREDO; Friday night EAST SIDE DAVE MOUNTAIN FOLK BAND will entertain and then on Saturday, the ever popular CRAMER BROTHERS BAND perform.

If racing is your interest, then Action Track USA will find the GrandStand on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Special note there will be an additional entrance fee for the GrandStand, onWednesday for the Fair Nationals Racing.

Friday night, the crowd can delight in the smash’em crash’em Demolition Derby in the Grand Stand, then dance the night away, as Line Dancing fills the Show Ring.

In addition to the rides, and shows, there will be thousands of animals on display, along with hundreds of quilts, cookies, flowers, hay, tomatoes, clothing, photographs and artwork. The Kutztown Fair is a proud showcase of local talent; entry for the contests is free. All Berks countians are encouraged to enter.
