“I created ‘Beethoven: REVEALED’ to be an evening of great music and compelling drama. Interwoven in the life story of one of the most beloved of composers you’ll enjoy some of his most popular chamber and orchestral music while experiencing many of the career defining moments of his turbulent life. From some of his most euphoric successes to the depths of the darkness and despair caused by his deafness, you’ll be drawn closer to him like never before. And setting the stone on this memorable evening will be a performance of this life-affirming Symphony No.7 – described by Wagner himself as, “The Apotheosis of the Dance”.” – Andrew Constantine.
Guest conductor and Concertmaster for the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, Jonathan Carney, has been a familiar face to the RSO stage both on the podium as well as being a featured soloist. He recently soloed under Andrew’s Baton during the 2013-2014 Season. Carney is currently the concertmaster for the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra and prior to his time in Baltimore held the same position with the London’s Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra and the Basque National Orchestra. Carney is an accomplished conductor and violist as well! Carney was the Director of the Royal Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra for 10 years. He has been a frequent guest conductor with orchestras across America and Europe.
The Lobby Music Program will be performed by students of Boyertown High School under the direction of Mr. Christopher M. Cinquini Director of Orchestras – Boyertown Area School District. Alvernia University has generously agreed to sponsor the student lobby performances for the entire 14-15 season.
