The Historic State Theatre of Boyertown is proud to present Born Cross-Eyed in concert on Friday, Dec. 26 at 7:30 p.m. The concert will be held at 61 N. Reading Avenue in Boyertown.

Born Cross-Eyed has been rocking Boyertown and beyond since 1978, capturing the spirit of a Grateful Dead concert and mixing in The Allman Brothers, The Rolling Stones, Bob Marley, and their own brand of sparkling original music. Born Cross-Eyed began their annual St. Stephens Day Party in 1986 at what was Sensations Niteclub, located alongside the Dinner Bell on Rt 100 in Boyertown. It has since become legendary – a yearly reunion for the band and their fans on the day after Christmas – and it is only natural to return to Boyertown and mark the occasion at The Historic State Theatre of Boyertown.

Born Cross-Eyed has shared the stage with such noted performers as Vassar Clements, Steve Kimock, Merl Saunders, Kingfish, Rusted Root and the New Riders of the Purple Sage. The members of the band have been featured at the Philadelphia Folk Festival, Berks Jazz Fest, Godfrey Daniels, Lone Star Cafe, and the Pennsylvania State Capitol. An evening with Born Cross-Eyed ranges from mellow acoustic tunes to foot stomping bluegrass, swing jazz to grooving reggae, powerful rock to country and blues. Audiences of Born Cross-Eyed find it impossible to sit still with their kind of enjoyable listening and exciting dance music.

Doors will open to the public at 7 p.m. Tickets are currently on sale now at a discounted price when purchased in advance at www.statetheatreboyertown.com, or will be on sale at the box office on the day of the live event.
