It’s hard to believe that this is the seventh time WTIM has welcomed in a New Year. Lots of things have changed since January of 2009. There were only 14 local listings the first week in 2009. There are 34 this week and I thought that it was a very light week! In 2009 we also listed the bigger venues and new CD releases, I guess i-tunes wasn’t around then. In 2014 we ran out of room for those items. Some things didn’t change, Jim Meck and STORM are still rocking seven years later making them our longest tenured acts and Cutillos along with Sunnybrook appear to take the longest venue title. Back to the present. WTIM friends Jim Meck, Monkey Bizzness, Ryan Marie Rettew, Double D, and Chestnut Grove are starting this year in rock and I’m sure we’ll be seeing these names often. Thanks to Kevin Rhude at The State and Born Cross Eyed for a fun St. Stephens Day celebration. We had a blast.

Do you want to see your band or venue listed here at WTIM? Send an email to tdietterick@21st-centurymedia.com with the particulars (at least two weeks in advance) and we’ll get it out there.
