Rodeo Marie Hanson, 8, of Fleetwood, has a tremendous amount of enthusiasm for all things Hollywood.

Rodeo’s reviews are unique, because they offer a child’s perspective on kids’ movies.

She started rubbing elbows with celebrities at 4 years old, when her press credential was almost as big as she was!

Rodeo recently watched “Paddington” at The Hamburg Strand.

Summary: “Paddington” is a family comedy about a young bear from Peru who travels to London in search of a new home.

In the process “Paddington” faces many challenges as he learns to adapt from the life he knew in the jungles of Peru to civilized society in metropolitan London, with the help of his newly adopted family the Browns.

Along the way, Paddington has many misadventures while trying to assimilate as a member of the Brown family, and eluding capture by an evil taxidermist.

The movie is based on the character of the same name who has been the subject of books and television shows.

“Paddington” is rated PG, and runs 1 hour and 35 minutes, and stars Nicole Kidman, Hugh Bonneville, and Sally Hawkins.

You can catch “Paddington” at the Hamburg Strand Theater at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 29.

Rodeo’s Review: I liked this movie because the bear is cute, and I wanted to let him stay at my home! There is a lot of action and some sad parts, but there are lots of happy parts, too. I really liked the one gross part with the earwax and how Paddington does everything differently than the kids and grown-ups. I also wish I had some of the marmalade that he makes! I give this movie 4 out of 4 boxes of popcorn.
