Award winning Blues vocalist and songwriter Bev Conklin makes her return to The Historic State Theatre of Boyertown 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 31, 2015. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. on the night of the event. Tickets are currently available at the discounted price online at www.statetheatreboyertown.com or can be purchased on the day of the show at the door, while supplies last.

A fixture in the Lehigh Valley music scene, Ms. Conklin has been an established performer for more than two decades with her band, The BC Combo (formerly BC & The Blues Crew) and in collaboration with other artists. Born in New Orleans, she brings a diverse vocal range and style that affords her a unique quality with her multi-faceted band. Her history of performances include singing with Ronnie Earl, Koko Taylor and Lonnie Brooks and her band has opened for Ray Charles and many of the national touring blues acts during festivals such as The Pennsylvania Blues Fest (formerly Pocono Blues Festival), Musikfest, Briggs Farm Blues Festival, Billtown Blues Festival, Baltimore Blues Festival, Memphis Blues Festival and at major concert halls across the Northeast.

The Historic State Theatre has been an integral part of the Boyertown community for more than 100 years. Currently, the Theatre is in the midst of transitioning from a Movie Theatre to a full-time Theatre of the Arts. Located at 61 N. Reading Ave, the theatre will host more than fifty live entertainment events in 2015.
