February made me shiver, with every paper I delivered, bad news on the door step… Yep this week is the 56th Anniversary of the day the music died. 56 years and the names and music of Buddy Holly, Richie Valens and JP Richardson have not faded into obscurity. That is the true message of this date. Good music never dies, never fades away it just ages and gets better like fine wine … Sorry, I’ve forgotten the point, just waxing nostalgic. WTIM friends Steve Carlisle, Steve Walker are jamming this time with Monkey Bizzness and Jim Meck playing cupid on Valentine’s Day! Just a tip for those of you looking for someplace to take your sweetie on Valentine’s Day, call or check ahead for reservations so you’re not disappointed by a sold out show.
