I come from the land of the ice and snow, From the midnight sun where the hot springs flow… or so the song goes. PLEASE! Tell me where these hot springs are so I can go get warm, I’M TIRED OF BEING COLD!!! I think I’m going to turn up the Vox amp to eleven, hit some power chords and warm up in the glow of the screaming tubes. If you don’t have an amp to keep you warm feel free to visit any of our amazing local venues who have their heaters on and doors unlocked bringing us the best of the best local talent. WTIM friends Monkey Bizzness, Jim Meck, Stephanie Grace, Holy Smoke and Jefferson Wheelchair are all braving the elements this time in an effort to warm your soul with rock n roll. I know everyone is looking forward to spring, but here’s something to look forward to this fall. The Oley/Boyertown Bark For Life has obtained a Epiphone Wildkat Guitar (in Wine Red) for this year’s guitar raffle, tentatively scheduled to be given away at The Howling for a Cure Concert in October. Watch for this amazing instrument to be on display at Bark For Life Events throughout the Spring and Summer. There will be a limited number of tickets available so get yours ASAP.

Do you want to see your band or venue listed here at WTIM? Send an email to tdietterick@21st-centurymedia.com with the particulars (at least two weeks in advance) and we’ll get it out there.
