The Oley Valley Community Library opened at its new location at 339 Main Street in Oley in March. Clay on Main was pleased to host a painting party to support OVCL.

Amanda Condict, a member of the studio taught the party for 17 supporters of the library. Painting parties are popular activities where non-artists are guided through the process of completing a painting in one evening. Beautiful paintings were created by all! Clay on Main is looking forward to working with our new neighbor.

The library’s summer reading program begins Thursday, June 11.

Each week a different super hero will visit the library every Thursday and Friday morning all summer long. Children will be rewarded for completing a summer reading log; a grand prize will be awarded to one lucky winner at the end of the summer. Check all local bulletin boards or stop by the library for more information.

Clay on Main is a 501(c) (3) non-profit artists’ cooperative located at 313 Main Street in the village of Oley. A detailed schedule of studio events can be found at www.clayonmain.org or Facebook.
