Kutztown native Sara Kyle, 22, Founder and Managing Director of digital marketing company Vault Collective, has joined forces with Brooklyn-based Harmonium Films & Music to support the theatrical and digital distribution of the award-winning feature film “Movement + Location.”

While attending Fordham University in the Bronx, Kyle worked as a real estate agent in Manhattan and interned at a talent management company in Brooklyn’s DUMBO neighborhood, known as one of New York City’s premiere technology and media hubs. In March 2014, she leveraged her learnings to begin her own entrepreneurial venture, immersed herself in startup culture and provided digital marketing consulting services for emerging companies leading up to and following her graduation in December 2014. She has since found her niche in the world of independent film and is currently dedicated full-time to collaborating with Harmonium to drive innovative practices for independent film distribution in the rapidly changing media-consumption landscape.

“Right now we are in the thick of the distribution phase,” said Kyle. “I met the filmmakers at a luncheon about a year ago on the film festival circuit, and have been working with them for the past few months to prepare for a NYC theatrical run Sept. 18 through Sept. 24 and Los Angeles Oct. 2 through Oct. 8, as well as dates in several other cities across the country. The film is also currently available to millions on iTunes and Verizon FiOS On Demand.”

According to Kyle, the film has also gotten positive reviews from the LA Times, LA Weekly, The Village Voice, The Hollywood Reporter and more.
